Dorothy is an enthusiastic and compassionate therapist who is well-versed in supporting individuals (including children) and families across various areas including anxiety, emotion regulation, mood and self-esteem, anger management, selective mutism, identity, life adjustments/transitions, separation and divorce, and trauma. Dorothy grounds her work in the self-identified goals of each person and their family, and seeks to mobilize their inherent strengths by instilling hope. Dorothy is dedicated to nurturing a therapy space that fosters trust, and firmly believes in the power of relationships in supporting resilience and healing for all. Dorothy believes that each young person and family possesses their own unique strengths, identities, and stories, and aims to place them at the forefront of their healing journey. 

Dorothy is child and family centred in her approach, and can skillfully implement various therapeutic modalities including Emotion-Focused (Family) Therapy (EFT, EFFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. Robin has experience supporting clients with a variety of mental health concerns in hospital, community, and private settings. She has expertise in supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, sleep disorders, substance use/ addiction, relationship challenges, emotion dysregulation/ suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder and boderline personality disorder. Robin draws from multiple theoretical frameworks to best suit your needs, and has completed training in CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), CPT (cognitive processing therapy), Mindfulness and mindfulness based CBT, DBT (dialectic behavioural therapy), and EFT (emotion focused therapy).
